This year for our anniversary we decided to get away to Cape Cod for the weekend. This was our first get away without Sydney. That morning before we got on the road to the cape, we wanted to eat breakfast at the place we went to the morning after we were married. Well, unfortunately it closed, just like the hotel we stayed at our wedding night. So, off to Friendly's we went. After we got to the cape, we went to the beach, just to take a walk because it was too cold out and wasn't sunny. That night we went out to fancy restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The next day we began our day off with a nice round of mini golf, but like always, Will won-he's too good! After mini golf we went on an amazing whale watch! On our way out to sea, black clouds began to roll in and soon thunder and lightning. Will and I were the only ones that stayed out on the deck to see the exciting weather, until it began to pour. It only rained for a few minutes, then we were back out on the deck. The boat then found a great spot to find humpbacks who were feeding. The humpbacks were jumping, feeding, and rolling. There were about 7 whales all around the boat at one time-it was awesome! I have been on several whale watches, but never one this great! We had such a great time this weekend, it was nice to get away once and a while!

This is a humpback whale's head/mouth feeding...notice the seagulls- they are trying to get some fish too!
