ZOO!

Sydney and I took advantage of the free admissions today at the Franklin Park Zoo today. We went there for her second birthday and haven't been back since. It was raining on our ride to the zoo~even though the radar on the Internet said the rain was leaving =( When we got to the zoo it wasn't raining anymore, but as soon as we decided to walk back to the car at the end of the day it started drizzling hard~perfect timing!
Sydney and I had a good time there. I just let her lead and tell me where she wanted to go. She enjoyed seeing the zebras and the donkeys (they have 2 new ones!). The gorilla's were hiding this time, and the tiger and the lion were both sleeping, although we could still see them. The lion began to "roar" really loudly as we started exiting the zoo. It was nice to be able to hear them and not just see them.

Sydney as a rooster~who knew roosters had hands???
checking out the ostrich
The real giraffes were put inside due to the weather, but this one just started roaming around the park...don't know where he came from??? Sydney didn't want to get too close, but was willing to wave to him.
She wasn't scared of this big gorilla and her baby
She was sooo excited when she saw they had a carousel there! She picked the zebra to ride on because it was one of her favorite animals there.
"weeeeee"
I love this result! She walked the whole time at the zoo~such a big girl, but she still needs her naps!
