Nature Painting

You know you have been a toddler teacher when you bring nature inside to paint with. We took some pine needles off of a tree at Sydney's Grandpa's house earlier this week and decided to keep them to paint with sometime this week. Sydney picked the two colors, pink and orange, and off she went to paint. It didn't last long~she got her hands all full of paint and that was the end of painting. She was also pretending that the pine needles were sleeping in the paint and when they woke up they would paint on the paper. Quite the imagination!!

She was nice and gentle lightly touching the paper with the pine needles in the begining...

Then she started getting a little carried away!

She enjoys painting with other objects other than a paintbrush all the time. Makes the experience fun and always learning something.
