Our Memorial Weekend began on Friday since Daddy had most of the day off from work. It was beautiful outside so we decided we would spend our time outside doing something fun. We went to Purgatory Chasm to climb the rocks. We had a great time, Sydney enjoyed being able to do some of it herself~until she fell down on her bum on a rock with a point on it. Those are the times when I think she wishes she was still in diapers =). After our rock climbing adventure we had a picnic in the park and then went for some ice cream. After Daddy left for work Sydney and I went to my step sisters last softball game~she is a senior and will be graduating this year! Sydney's favorite part was all the balloons she
received while she was there. She ended up taking home 9 balloons!
Monday Daddy had to work all day so Sydney and I went to the town parade with
Grampy. Sydney didn't quite understand the concept of a parade right away, she thought we had to go walk to the parade, silly girl, the parade comes to you. =) She stood on the side of the road waving to everyone in the parade. Some man walked up to me and told me that she should run for select woman~we will see what her future holds. After the parade we went to
Grampy and
Grammy's house where Sydney spend most of the day in her little pool. It was nice to just relax and play outside all day~although I did slip inside to take a nap =)
