She's learning....

Sydney is working on writing! We are going to begin with the letters in her name. We are focusing on the letter "Y" with her first since it consists of 3 straight lines~it's the easiest to write. She began showing interest a while ago, but I knew it would be a little early to focus on writing, so we practiced first with the pre-writing skills such as straight lines and circles. She was doing well with that, so we tried her writing her name and other peoples names on her Valentine's Day cards.

She wrote her cousin's name "Belle" and her name!

We have been doing more school with her now that Savannah is in a routine and I have time to focus on her school. She is doing a letter game and practicing tracing all of her letters in her name.

I just can't believe she is writing now! She really is growing up!
