Well, it was a rough past 12 hours. We spent our night in the ER =( Sydney woke up with a temp of 105.1 ~ which then threw me into panic! I immediately gave her medicine and then called the doctors office to talk to the nurse on call. She sent us to the ER where they basically told us she has some form of a viral virus and could do nothing for her. She just needs to let the fever run it's course. She is still happy for the most part and still has energy. She was running laps around the pediatric floor in the ER last night acting very concerned about the other children that were in there.
My concern is her temp is staying between 103-105 and will not come down no matter how much medicine we give her. If does not go down by tomorrow we are back off to the doctors where they will run more tests. Her ears, throat, and lungs are all in great shape! She's a big mystery! When she gets sick, she really knows how to do it. It's difficult to watch her be so sick and not be able to do anything for her.
