Savannah's new favorite place to play unfortunately is the stairs. We have learned this week that there is nothing we can do to block it. We had a gate up to prevent her from crawling up, but because of the way the wall is on one side of the stairs, a half wall, the gate doesn't fit securely~we found that out the hard way. Yesterday Savannah was holding onto the gate just standing up and she pulled it off of the wall and she fell back and the gate fell on top of her giving her a bruise and a small cut between her eyes and a small cut under her lower lip. She was more scared than anything, but survived. We have got to figure something else to put there so it's secure.
Sydney also likes to go behind her one the stairs to keep her safe. They also like to just sit and cuddle. I caught them snuggling and Sydney giving kisses to Savannah. Sydney always yells to us~ "take a picture of us"~and of course I do! :)
