It's that time again...time to set up our Christmas tree. We didn't even bother putting it completely away when we moved it~just put it to the side. It has usually been our tradition to set it up the day after Thanksgiving after I get home from Black Friday shopping. But this year was a little different. Not only was I completely exhausted from not sleeping all night while being 8 1/2 months pregnant and on my feet all night, but I got the stomach bug that day too, and Will had to work. We waited for a day when we were all well rested and could enjoy doing this together for the last time as a family of three. Next year we will, most likely, be trying to keep this almost one year old away from tearing it down.
Sydney really has been such a great helper with whatever needs to be done around the house. She just wanted to get right in and help with the tree. She did a great job with helping Daddy put the tree together, but was a little saddened at the fact that we wouldn't let her help with the lights. She really had a blast putting up all the ornaments and putting the star on the tree~which is also tradition for her to do it.
Here are our Christmas decorating photos: (Sarah, notice the "Christmas tree" right outside our window)

She is taking this job very seriously!

Notice how all the ornaments are clumped together in the front =)
