In Memory

A year ago today my family lost such a wonderful person, my Grandfather, Sydney and Savannah's Great Grandfather. We miss him greatly, even if he did have some horrible jokes! :) He was such a great Grandfather to me. He would try to teach me so much and leave me with knowledge about life. He was a wonderful Great Grandfather to Sydney. It was his first and only Great Grandchild and he would brag about her where ever he went. He loved her so much, and loved spending time with her. I am saddened to know that she will most likely not have any real memories of him other than the ones she sees in pictures. And Savannah never got to know how wonderful he was! :( He is truly missed!

It has also been 4 years today that we lost my Grandmother. She was also a wonderful person and would take great care of us when we were younger. She also never knew Sydney or Savannah, but Savannah's middle name is in honor of her. Her name was Eugenia and people always called her Jean, so we wanted to pass that onto Savannah (and Will's moms middle name is Jean, so it's also part of her name passed on). We all miss her too!

My Grandfather's passion was racing pigeons. This is the last summer he was able to take care of his pigeons. Sydney got a grand tour of the coup with her Great Grandfather.
