Living Treasures Animal Park

We had Will's half brother stay with us this past weekend with his wife and 2 children, so we thought we would head to the Living Treasures Wild Animal Park on Saturday. It was the most perfect day to go. It was only in the 70's and no humidity! Now that kind of summer I can take! :)
When you got there and paid for your admission they asked you if you wanted some food (feed or carrots) to feed to the animals. We got both so the kids could experience feeding the animals both. Sydney was very afraid of feeding animals or being close to them last year, but did such a great job of feeding them this year. She was a little intimidated by the bigger ones and didn't want to feed the carrots to the bigger ones.
Savannah really enjoyed seeing and touching the animals. One of the animals almost ate her though (picture to follow)!!!
We all had such a great time and all of the kids were wonderful! After we left we went home to have a delicious meal of steaks on the grill~the day couldn't get any better! :)

Sydney wanted to feed the Turkey a carrot, but he wasn't having any of that! :)

Both Sydney and Sophia were trying so hard to feed some of the animals carrots.

Finally one wanted a carrot.

She liked feeding the smaller animals.

She was afraid this one was going to eat her had, so I held my hand over hers, but she was still a little scared.

All you have to do is kiss them really, they they are nice :)

She's got the hang of it.

Some of the animals you could feed through tubes~they didn't want you to get too close.

Water Buffalo

This is the animal that almost had Savannah for lunch!

Not sure why Daddy is sacrificing her to him?!?!

YIKES! and EEEWWW!!

Sydney wanted no part in this picture after seeing what he did with Savannah!

The snake was Savannah's favorite part! She just wanted to grab him! Thankfully the glass was separating them!

We definitely belong on an animal farm! :)

I was trying to convince Sydney this was Prancer from the movie, but she didn't buy it.

Reindeer "What you lookin' at kid?"

She was having a blast feeding them!

Savannah tried too!

Cute baby!

Do they think she is food?!?!

I always knew Sydney was a monkey!

Tiger "Ahhh, this is the life!"

We do feed her, I promise!

She was too afraid to feed the llama.

Savannah and I took the carrot and fed him.

She was so happy to stand up all by herself to see the goats!

Sydney decided she had enough and was all done feeding the animals and gave Sophie all her feed.

But, she just didn't want to carry her bucket and decided to have Sophie carry all the feed in one bucket and she would just take from her~how kind:)
