Last Wednesday on July 21st, Savannah turned 7 months old! How is she growing up too fast!
She has hit numerous milestones in just the past month alone! She went from eating table food starting at 6 months and has been doing great with that. There is nothing this little girl who eats anything despite the fact that she doesn't have any teeth yet, and doesn't look like any are going to be showing up any time soon (about the only thing developmentally she takes after Sydney in). She had mastered sitting up, she went from the crawling position to the sitting position, stood up in her crib, crawled, stood up on furniture, cruising on furniture, began drinking from a sippy, said "hi", waved, free standing for about 4-5 seconds and going to 2 naps a day now. Looks like the only thing she needs to master is talking, walking and potty training. Seriously~who is this girl!!!! :)
We are working with her on her language. I am emphasising more of the "Mama" than the "Dada" :) She hasn't said any words other than "hi" that we have heard or were intentional. I am just fine with her not talking just yet. I pushed for Sydney to talk so much, and now I never get a moment where she's not talking! Be careful what you pray for! :)
Savannah has begun to have a fake cough. She will do it every now and then to get your attention and loves when you do your fake cough right back to her and then she repeats. It could go on for a few minutes! She is either doing her fake cough or raspberries during the day. No matter what it is, she loves sticking her tongue out! :P
All I can think of to explain the past month in general is that Savannah just loves life! She loves smiling and just being around people. We love her and her happy spirit she has!
